Looking for the best black salons? go to salon voice.com and ask.

@WhereYaBoss and by the same token, when you make an appt. SHOW UP, on time and not with your three children and a chicken bucket. Stop talking loud on the cell phone under the dryer and don’t make an appt. for a relaxer & rinse and then decide to do it at home and ask me just to flat iron it. Just like you all have complaints about black salons, so do we…the only way to move forward is to each take responsibility and do better:):)

@wendyrm5 I hear you, but the reason why people do that is because they see the owners and the workers doing it. I go to salons now where the staff acts professionally, has a professional appearance and I have yet to see a client come in with a 12-piece and rugrats. If you are providing a great service you can set the rules. But if you aren’t then you have to take the clientele you can get. If you are attracting clients carrying KFC buckets what does that say about your establishment?

@WhereYaBoss im loving what your saying, Im a stylist and before i was qualified i had no respect, clients wouldntt pay me, they would be hours late, bring boyfriends and they friends over etc i decided enough was enough and i set the standard high, now my clients actually arrive early and they all say thankyou for having them. Your 100% true, being a stylist is hard!

@freedombraids Continue to keep your standards high. Use the best equipment you can afford, Keep your site modern and clean, let them know the rules of your salon or business in a professional way. When you do this you attract clientele that’s use to being treated with class and they will in turn treat you with class. If they don’t, you can respectfully decline their business. There are classy salons that have a certain amount of loyal customers and you have to hope for an apppointmnt with them!

Hi, I came across this video looking for a potential new stylist to walk me through a new adventure for me. Im interested in doing my first weave but I have no clue on where to start. How much is a full head and what is a good hair to try for a wet and wavy look?
